Complete Your Waterproofing System with the Right Accessories
IceGuard® Discharge Line System
ump pump discharge lines are fed outside the home, meaning it’s possible they could freeze during the cold winter months. A backed up discharge line means your sump pump won’t work properly in the event of water in your basement, which will make the flooding much worse. Our solution to this problem is the IceGuard® discharge line system.
The IceGuard® fits over the top of your discharge line to provide water with a secondary escape route. When the main line is working correctly, water simply flows out as usual. However, when the discharge line is frozen, the IceGuard® allows water to escape through slotted openings in the drain pipe. This ensures that any water your sump pump is removing from your basement is safely cleared away outside your home, preventing any backed up or frozen lines. The IceGuard® is compatible with all our sump pump systems.
RainChute® Downspout Extentions
Many homeowners don’t realize the impact that their gutters can have on their basement. When your gutters aren’t draining properly, they can overflow or dispense water against the foundation walls, contributing to basement leaks. We provide three different gutter downspout extension options to ensure that your home has gutters that are directing water away from the foundation.
- The RainChute® is a recessed downspout extension that sits flush with the ground. It’s best where the lawn goes up to the foundation since lawn mower traffic won’t hurt it.
- The RainChute EZ® is an above-ground downspout extension that installs easily to direct water away from your foundation. RainChute EZ® is best used in a landscaped area because it isn’t dug into the ground like the original version.
- The LawnScape™ Outlet is a pipe buried from the downspout to a special LawnScape™ outlet that lets the water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe with a lid that comes off for easy cleaning. The LawnScape™ Outlet is best used for downspout extensions over 8′ long.
FlexiSpan® Wall Crack Repair
The common method of repairing basement wall cracks involves an injection of a polyurethane material that generally will fail over time due. This material dries into a firm substance that can’t move with a wall. Since concrete naturally shrinks and is subject to pressure from soils, it’s essential to have a crack repair system that can work with the wall’s movement. FlexiSpan® is the ideal solution to this problem. This flexible sealant is made of open cell foam and waterproof sealant.
FlexiSpan® is designed to move with a wall, ensuring that the entire crack is sealed even if there is a change in the wall. This is a permanent solution that installs smoothly over a wall, and its neutral color will fit with a concrete wall. FlexiSpan® can easily be covered up with a basement finishing product as well.
Why You Need Basement Waterproofing Add-ons
Additional products strengthen your basement waterproofing system by covering gaps a primary system may not address. They help manage humidity, improve air quality, protect against pump failure during outages, and prevent discharge line freezing. These upgrades reduce the risk of flooding, musty odors, and long term moisture problems while helping your entire system perform more reliably year round.

Sump Pump & Backup Systems
Sump Pump & Backup Systems
Your sump pump is the heart of your waterproofing system. A high performance primary pump removes water quickly and efficiently. Backup systems, powered by battery or water pressure, keep your basement protected during power outages and heavy storms. This added layer of protection helps prevent flooding when you need it most.
Basement Dehumidifiers
Basement Dehumidifiers
Even a dry basement can hold excess humidity. A high capacity, energy efficient dehumidifier controls moisture in the air and helps stop musty smells before they start. By lowering humidity levels, it also reduces the risk of mold growth. The result is cleaner air and a more comfortable basement space.
Basement Wall Vapor Barriers
Basement Wall Vapor Barriers
Wall vapor barriers block moisture vapor from passing through foundation walls. These durable liners direct any water into your interior drainage system where it can be safely managed. They also give basement walls a brighter, cleaner appearance. This makes the space feel more finished while supporting your waterproofing system.
Discharge Line Protection
Discharge Line Protection
Your sump pump discharge line must stay clear to move water away from your home. Freeze protection systems prevent the line from freezing during cold weather. This ensures water continues flowing safely away from the foundation year round. Without proper protection, a frozen discharge line can lead to basement flooding.
