When we received a call about some cracks in this homeowners foundation we were not expecting what we saw. These cracks were more like two and a half inch gaps. It looked as though the back corner of the home was falling off, and that’s because it was. The gaps and cracks were the effect of foundation settlement due to poor soil around the foundation.
solution
After Michael Bornsheuer, System Design Specialist, inspected the home he created the optimal solution to fix this problem. We installed 16 3″ Push Piers to ensure that this homes foundation was put back where it was intended to be. Not only did this fix the problem of the foundation moving, but also made sure it would not continue to do so.
