Ron K. of North Augusta, SC knew he had to get rid of the mold in his crawl space because his wife has ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and she developed breathing issues due to the mold underneath their home. Ron called Cantey Foundation Specialists to come check out the problem and develop a solution to get rid of the mold for years to come. System Design Specialist John Adams arrived at the house and went under the crawl space to diagnose the problem. Specialist John recommended a Cleanspace system with a full drainage matting and Mold X fogging for the mold remediation.

Production Crew Foreman Sixto Lopez and his crew installed the Cleanspace encapsulation. They also laid drainage matting and fogged the crawl space where the mold was occurring. The MoldX solution kills mold spores on the wood and prevents them from growing anymore. The Cleanspace installation keeps the ground separated from any existing contact with the air above, and it decreases moisture levels. The CleanSpace vapor barrier has antimicrobic additive in the material which prevents any mold growth on the liner, while the dehumidifier and SmartSump ensures that all moisture or water issues will not develop. Now, Ron and his wife can enjoy the safer, cleaner breathable air all year long.
