SmartJacks Level Up to Expectations in Augusta, GA

Michael G. bought his home in Augusta, GA to be closer to the home of his favorite activity, golf. He had always traveled to Augusta to see all the golf tournaments. Now it is just a short drive to each of his favorite courses. He has done his best to try to make his new home as comfortable as possible. When he was finally starting to feel at home, he noticed his living room floor was sloping. He had not remembered this being an issue when he moved in but something told him to get someone to take a look at it. Michael remembered that his friend John Adams was a System Design Specialist for Cantey Foundation Specialists. He knew John could help him so he gave him a call. John came over for an inspection and afterward told Michael that his home needed some extra support. He believed that Cantey’s patented SmartJack system would work wonderfully for Michael’s home. The installation would begin with sections of soil being removed at the sites for each SmartJack. These would then be filled with tightly compacted crushed stone to create a base that could withstand the weight of the SmartJacks and the home. A footing piece is installed on top of the stone that is then the resting place for the SmartJack. The SmartJack would then be attached to a long metal beam that would be attached to the top of the crawl space. Once all the SmartJacks are attached, they then would be adjusted to create lift. Michael was confident in John’s solution and set up a date for installation. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Jose Lopez, and Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines came out and successfully installed the SmartJack system. Michael has returned to his usually golfing schedule now that he no longer has to worry about his new home.
