Production Crew Foreman Sixto Lopez dug to the foundation footers and started the sentry wall process. After digging, Foreman Sixto and his crew had to clean, treat, cover, and protect the exterior wall. This effectively waterproofed the crawl space so that Brian no longer has to worry about leaks and water damage!

SmartJacks Fix Sticking Door in Travelers Rest, SC

Tonya C. of Travelers Rest, SC began noticing problems in her home because she had interior cracks above her door jambs, and she also had trouble closing her back door because it was sticking. Sticking Door Solution in Mauldin, SC

Ray I. of Mauldin, SC had troubles with a sticking door in his kitchen, and he wanted his home to be stable and secure. Ray called Cantey Foundation Specialists to diagnose the problem and provide a permanent solution for the home. System Design Specialist James Davis arrived at the home and recommended that Ray have 3 SmartJacks placed under the center beam, and another SmartJack installed by a pier in the hallway. Production Crew Foreman Sixto Lopez and his crew went to the job site and installed the piers to perfection. Now, Ray can easily open and shut that old pesky door, and he has the confidence that his home will be stabilized for many years.

PolyLevel Adds Value to Home for Sale in Travelers Rest, SC

Bob V. has found that selling a home sometimes is not an easy process. He decided to put his home in Travelers Rest, SC on the market after he and his wife decided to move to a different area to be closer to work. While a potential buyer was doing a walk through they tripped on the sidewalk. Bob had known of his sinking concrete before then but found that fixing this would take away the safety hazard as well as add value to his home. Bob’s brother had previously had work done on his concrete driveway and suggested Bob call Cantey Foundation Specialists. Bob called and was set up with System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway. Specialist Ryan came out and did an inspection on Bob’s sidewalk and found that his garage was also starting to have the same problem. Ryan explained to Bob that Cantey’s patented PolyLevel system would be the solution for him and add value to his home. The PolyLevel system starts with small holes being drilled into the concrete. The PolyLevel is then injected underneath the concrete as a liquid to be able to fill all the voids but then quickly harden to form a solid, strong foundation. Ryan told Bob that because the soil underneath is causing the concrete to sink, the PolyLevel would create a level foundation for the concrete to rest on instead of the soil. Production Team Leader Roberto Buchner came out and successfully installed the PolyLevel system to Bob’s sidewalk and garage. Bob is now back to showing his home and is satisfied to know the value the PolyLevel system has added to his home.

PolyLevel Makes Front Yard Beautiful Again in Mauldin, SC

When David and Dennise E. bought their home in Mauldin, SC the yard was a mess. Having some experience in landscaping, David decided that he and his wife could tackle this project themselves. They started slowly but before they knew it, they had a beautiful yard that all the neighbors complimented. During this process, they removed some trees that were close to the driveway and sidewalk. The area looked great without the trees but it caused a problem for the concrete slabs. The voids underneath made the concrete slabs sink producing large cracks. They did not want this to ruin their hard work so they started looking for a solution. One morning, Dennise heard a radio advertisement for Cantey Foundation Specialists stating that they had a solution for leveling concrete. She called and scheduled an appointment when she and her husband were available. System Design Specialist Dallas Rabideaux came out and inspected the concrete slabs. Dallas was confident after the inspection that Cantey’s PolyLevel process would fix the driveway and sidewalk. Dallas explained that the PolyLevel process begins with small holes being drilled through the concrete. Then the liquid PolyLevel is injected into each of these holes into the voids underneath the concrete. This liquid would then harden within 15 minutes, creating lift and stabilization. The PolyLevel process even comes with a 5-year warranty to guarantee the success of the concrete stabilization. David and Dennise felt as though this solution could give them the result that they desired. Production Team Leader Jeremey Wilson and Production Team Member Nick Collins came out and effectively injected the PolyLevel process. David and Dennise feel like their yard is now officially the most appealing in the neighborhood, thanks to the assistance of Cantey’s solution.

Crawl Space Drainage and Buried Downspouts

Water in your crawl space can cause many problems, especially if it has no place to drain. Installed in this crawl space was a Super Sump Pump and Drain Tile through the crawl space, leading to the downspouts which were buried in the ground in order to keep the water out and away from the house.
