Foundation Repair - Inadequate Crawl Space Piers
These cement blocks were the original piers for stabilizing this Charleston home. Because of the heavy weight of the home, the blocks began to sink further into the soil allowing room between the piers and the home. Some customers try to fix this problem by shimming--- or adding blocks of wood to the space. However, this is not the correct solution as it does not fix the problem of settling soil.
