Roy W. of Aiken, SC has been living in his home for thirty years, and he has decided to sell his home. Before he could sell his home, he needed to fix the interior cracks in the drywall in the dining room. System Deisgn Specialist Kendall Moore inspected his home for free, and he found that the crawl space piers were unstable and settling. Production Crew led by Foreman Dallas Darity installed 8 SmartJacks which lifted and stabilized the living room floor. Now, Roy can sell his home with more confidence knowing that the foundation is secure.
Meg F. purchased her home in Aiken, SC because it was the right size for her and her three children. They love where they live and everyone in the neighborhood is friendly. Meg likes to get her kids outside playing so they are not constantly watching TV or on a tablet. They have all enjoyed spending that time together riding their bikes or scooters. Meg's youngest daughter just learned how to ride her bike but one day she fell over because of a section of the driveway that was uneven. Luckily, everything was okay and her daughter got back up on her bike, but Meg worried about this safety issue. While telling her neighbor about the incident, she suggested Cantey Foundation Specialists. Her neighbor had the same problem but Cantey was able to fix her driveway with no problem. Meg got the number and called the next day. She was scheduled for an appointment with System Design Specialist, Richard Early. Richard arrived and did an inspection of the concrete slabs. He spoke with Meg and told her about Cantey's PolyLevel process. Small holes would be drilled through the concrete. Then a liquid polyethylene solution would be injected underneath, filling all the voids that exist. This solution hardens quickly, forming a solid foundation and lifts the concrete slab. Meg thought this process was interesting and she felt confident that Cantey could help her fix the driveway. Production Team Leader, Roberto Buchner and Production Team Member, Josh Hough came out and effectively injected the PolyLevel process. Meg and her kids are now ready for the warmer weather so that they can get out to play on their safer driveway.
Ray E. moved into his Aiken, SC home with his wife and children 25 years ago. He built the home when he found out his wife was pregnant with his second child. The home they were in just would not be big enough. Once they moved, they knew this was the home they would stay in. It was the true definition of home and it was their children's childhood home. Now with the kids all grown up, Ray loves to do different projects around the house with his free time. One project he could not complete himself was repairing his sidewalk. It began to sink about 4 years ago and continuously got worse until there was a 1 inch gap. That gap was definitely a tripping hazard and Ray did not want anyone getting hurt. He did a search on the internet to see what different solutions existed because he knew replacing it would be costly. He found Cantey Foundation Specialists and their PolyLevel solution. Ray called in and scheduled an appointment for the following week for an inspection. System Design Specialist TJ Harden came out and inspected the driveway before sitting down with Ray. TJ explained that the PolyLevel solution would begin with small holes being drilled through the concrete slab of the sidewalk. The PolyLevel solution would then be injected underneath the slab. As the liquid expands, it creates lift and stabilization for the slab. Within a matter of minutes, the solution hardens and forms a solid foundation under the slab. Ray believed in this solution and loved that it would cost less than replacement. Production Crew Leader Roberto Buchner and Production Crew Member Brooks Walker came out and successfully injected the PolyLevel solution. Ray now has the peace of mind that his sidewalk is safe.
Frances D. has lived in Aiken, SC for most of her life. She now lives close to her grandchildren and spends most of her time with them. During the summer she takes care of her grandchildren while they are out of school. One day when they were all in the living room, one of the children tripped over a low spot in the floor. That spot had been there for a while but Frances didn't think anything of it until she was concerned for her grandchildren's safety. She searched online for a company that could help her with this safety hazard. Frances found Cantey Foundation Specialists and gave them a call to schedule an appointment for an inspection. System Design Specialist Alex Lovette came out and did a thorough inspection. Alex found that the piers under Frances' home were not supporting the floor like they should. Cantey's SmartJack system could provide the additional support that Frances' home needed. Alex explained that holes would be dug at the sites for the SmartJacks that would be filled with rock. Then a steel beam would be installed across the beams of the crawl space. A plate would be installed on top of the rock and the SmartJack would be installed on top. Once the SmartJack was level and secured to the beam above, it would be adjusted to create lift. Frances knew this system could give her the peace of mind that her home was safe. Production Crew Leader Trey Dukes, Production Crew Member Josh Hough, and Production Crew Member James McNeely came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Frances no longer has to worry about her grandchildren at her home and they can now make plenty of safer memories this summer.
Garrett B. Called with problems about his floor bowing when he would walk over it. We came out and found that most of his main support beams were rotten and needed to be replaced. By replacing the joists, we were able to provide him the comfort of not falling through his floor in his space of peace.
