Jerry B. has owned his home in West Columbia, SC for a few years now. He loves his quaint home on its quiet street that makes for his perfect home. Jerry has done several repairs to the home but never thought about the condition of his crawl space. He had a routine check for termites which determined that there were no termites but extensive termite damage to the beams under his home. He called his brother to see what he could do and he recommended Cantey Foundation Specialists. Jerry called Cantey and set up an appointment with System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford. Jamie came out for the scheduled inspection to find that there were quite a few beams that needed to be replaced. Jamie assured Jerry that Cantey often does wood replacement in crawl spaces and could have the damaged areas fixed like new. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Matthew Kelley came out and successfully replaced all the damaged wood. Jerry has a better understanding of his crawl space health and is now doing regular checks to make sure it is in great condition.
Eddie H. grew up in a small home in West Columbia, SC. His mother is now the only one that lives there and still takes pretty good care of herself. Eddie, of course, checks on her periodically and helps her with repairs around the house. One Sunday when he was over visiting her, he noticed just how much the front porch had sunk. It had happened over time but seemed to be getting continuously worse. Eddie wanted to get this fixed for his mother but had no idea how. He was just scrolling through his Facebook when he found his answer, Cantey Foundation Specialists. Cantey had a video showing their PolyLevel solution and how it could lift concrete slabs. Eddie knew that's just what his mother's porch needed and called in to make an appointment. System Design Specialist Richard Early came out and did a thorough inspection of the porch. He found that the PolyLevel solution would be the perfect product for the porch. Richard explained to Eddie that the process would start with the crew drilling small holes through the concrete slab. Then a liquid solution would be injected underneath the concrete. This solution would expand and lift the concrete slab. Within minutes, the solution would harden to form a stable foundation for the concrete slab. Eddie felt like the PolyLevel solution would give him the peace of mind he needed that his mother would be safe, so he scheduled an installation date. Production Crew Leader Jeremey Wilson and Production Crew Member Nick Collins came out and effectively injected the PolyLevel solution. Eddie no longer has to worry about his mother stepping out on the porch and would recommend Cantey to anyone needing concrete repair.
Ester & Steven H. of West Columbia, SC wanted to fix cracks found throughout the exterior of their home, and they also wanted to prevent future foundation issues. After hearing Cantey Foundation Specialists on 107.5 THE GAME on the radio, Ester called to make an appointment for the free inspection. System Design Specialist James Davis examined not only the exterior of their home, but also the interior and crawl space. Specialist James' solution for Ester & Steven was to push seven piers deep into the ground to help lift and stabilize their home back into place. Now, Ester & Steven no longer have the ugly visible cracks in the exterior of their home, but they can also be confident that foundation issues is a worry of the past.
Sonja A. just moved into her West Columbia, SC home a few months ago. Ever since then she has tried to do a major overhaul of the front yard. The previous owner had let all the bushes get overgrown and hardly ever cut the grass. She wanted it to be a nice area since she was finally getting the front porch she always wanted. After all her landscaping was in order, there was one more aspect that needed to be cleaned up and that was the driveway. It had unsightly cracks and was sinking in different places. She had no idea who to call but she knew that she wanted to do something about it. Sonja found her landscaping company through HomeAdvisor so she decided to go the same route when finding a company she could trust to fix her concrete slabs. She found Cantey Foundation Specialists and called in to set up an appointment. When System Design Specialist Alex Lovette arrived for the appointment, Sonja showed him the areas she was concerned with. After his inspection, Alex explained to Sonja that the most lasting solution would be Cantey's PolyLevel process. The PolyLevel process would begin with small holes being drilled through the concrete. Then, a liquid PolyLevel would be injected underneath the concrete slab. Because it is a liquid, it can fill all the voids that the soil has left underneath. The liquid then hardens after a 15 minute period and will create lift as well as stabilize the slab. Sonja was confident in what the PolyLevel process could do for her driveway and set up a time for installation. Production Team Leader Jeremey Wilson and Production Team Member Nick Collins came out and successfully injected the PolyLevel process. Sonja is thrilled that her front yard is finally just the way she wanted it and now spends most of her free time on her front porch.
Joe V. just bought a home for his family in West Columbia, SC with the intention of fixing it up. It will be the perfect home for his family when he is finished. When he started mapping out a plan, he decided that ultimately he needed to start with the foundation. Fixing this home from the ground up seemed like the best course to take. While watching the news one evening, Joe saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists. He decided to give them a call to schedule a free inspection. System Design Specialist Jason Hugg arrived for the scheduled appointment and got to work on the inspection after meeting Joe. Jason determined from the inspection that to solve Joe's problem with cracking foundation, Cantey's Push Pier system needed to be installed. The Push Pier system would begin with the soil being removed where the piers would be driven into the ground in order to find competent soil. A heavy-duty steel bracket is then attached to the foundation's footing. The weight of the home is then transferred through the piers to the competent soil that was found below. These Push Piers can not only give lift to the home but permanently stabilize. Joe believed the Push Pier system would give him a great start to making this the perfect home for his family. Production Team Member Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines, and Production Team Member Jose Lopez came out and effectively installed the Push Pier system. Joe is amazed by the results of the Push Pier installation and believes that this house is well on its way to become home to his family.
