Proudly Serving SC & GA Including - Columbia, Greenville, Augusta and Charleston
Jeff S. moved into his home in early 2001 in Greer, SC. After living in Greenville, SC for most of his life, he wanted to live somewhere that was quiet. His home out in the country is peaceful and it is just the way he likes it. One morning while grabbing his morning coffee, he noticed a moldy smell. Jeff did not think much of it but this smell continued to get worse over time. Jeff could not find the source inside and wondered where this smell could be coming from. When he mentioned this problem to his neighbor, they told him they had a similar problem and to call Cantey Foundation Specialists. Jeff did just that and scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Grant Davis. Grant arrived and did a thorough inspection of Jeff's crawl space. Grant found that Jeff had a considerable amount of mold growing in his crawl space. He explained that the high moisture content in the crawl space was causing mold growth that would be harmful to Jeff's home and health. Grant told Jeff that the only way to permanently prevent this mold growth, he would need to have Cantey's CleanSpace system installed. The installation would start with drainage matting being placed on the floor of the crawl space to assist all the moisture to flow to the SmartSump. The SmartSump would pump all the excess moisture outside to keep the area underneath the CleanSpace material dry. The CleanSpace material would be installed over the drainage matting, piers, and walls of the crawl space. Then a spray foam adhesive is installed along the edges of the material to secure the bond between the CleanSpace and crawl space. Jeff was impressed by what the CleanSpace system could do for himself and his home. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Austin Boan, and Production Team Member Zenen Dominguez came out and effectively installed the CleanSpace system. Jeff no longer has any worries and can continue enjoying his peaceful country home thanks to Cantey's CleanSpace system.
