London V. of North Augusta, SC scheduled a FREE inspection and estimate with Cantey Foundation Specialists. It was determined that the family home would benefit from helical piers. These piers are mechanically advanced into the soil using small construction equipment or hand equipment. As they are installed to appropriate depths and capacities, they prevent any future settlement issues. In many scenarios, these foundation piers will be able to lift your home back to level position by the completion of the installation.
With knowledge of local soil conditions, helical piers can be an ideal solution because the installing contractor will know exactly how deep to install the piers to reach a stable soil layer that can support your home. If your goals are the following, helical piers are a good choice:
Once your helical piers have been installed, you can count on your problem to be solved -- once and for all!

Roy W. of Aiken, SC has been living in his home for thirty years, and he has decided to sell his home. Before he could sell his home, he needed to fix the interior cracks in the drywall in the dining room. System Deisgn Specialist Kendall Moore inspected his home for free, and he found that the crawl space piers were unstable and settling. Production Crew led by Foreman Dallas Darity installed 8 SmartJacks which lifted and stabilized the living room floor. Now, Roy can sell his home with more confidence knowing that the foundation is secure.
Frances D. has lived in Aiken, SC for most of her life. She now lives close to her grandchildren and spends most of her time with them. During the summer she takes care of her grandchildren while they are out of school. One day when they were all in the living room, one of the children tripped over a low spot in the floor. That spot had been there for a while but Frances didn't think anything of it until she was concerned for her grandchildren's safety. She searched online for a company that could help her with this safety hazard. Frances found Cantey Foundation Specialists and gave them a call to schedule an appointment for an inspection. System Design Specialist Alex Lovette came out and did a thorough inspection. Alex found that the piers under Frances' home were not supporting the floor like they should. Cantey's SmartJack system could provide the additional support that Frances' home needed. Alex explained that holes would be dug at the sites for the SmartJacks that would be filled with rock. Then a steel beam would be installed across the beams of the crawl space. A plate would be installed on top of the rock and the SmartJack would be installed on top. Once the SmartJack was level and secured to the beam above, it would be adjusted to create lift. Frances knew this system could give her the peace of mind that her home was safe. Production Crew Leader Trey Dukes, Production Crew Member Josh Hough, and Production Crew Member James McNeely came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Frances no longer has to worry about her grandchildren at her home and they can now make plenty of safer memories this summer.
