Margaret M. has owned her Lugoff, SC home for quite some time but has finally decided she needs a change. She has always loved her home but she believes it is time to downsize. She no longer needed the space now that her kids have moved out. Margaret decided to get ahead of the game and make sure all would go well with the inspection before she sold the home. First, she wanted to make sure her foundation and crawl space were in good condition. She searched for a local foundation repair company and found Cantey Foundation Specialists. They looked like a trustworthy company with some great reviews plus the inspection was free. System Design Specialist, Scott Townsend arrived to do a thorough inspection of Margaret's home. He found that there were a few places that Margaret did need some extra support. Cantey's SmartJack system could provide the lift and stabilization that her home needed. Soil would be removed at the sites and then filled with engineer fill. A footing is then installed on top of the fill and underneath the steel beam installed above. The SmartJacks are then sized to be secured in place and then tightened. Margaret decided to hire Cantey so that she could sell her home with no issues. Homeowners Joe S. and his wife of Eastover, SC started to notice a dip in the dining room floor where they often hosted family and friends. Believing that fix the low floor spot would be difficult and costly, Joe got a tip from his nephew to call Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free no obligation inspection. System Design Specialist Jason Hugg met Joe at his home and inspected the areas of concern. Afterwards Specialist Jason explained to Joe that the reason there were low spots in the floor were due to the piers underneath his home beginning to settle. Specialist Jason then explained that the solution to Joe’s problem was Cantey’s patented SmartJack system. SmartJacks would lift and level the floor while creating a base that would effectively resist settlement. Production Team Leader Israel and Production Team Member Jonathan came out to Joe’s home and effectively installed the Smart Jack system. Joe and his wife are now enjoying their time entertaining guests in the dining room thanks to Cantey.

Brannon H. of Camden, SC wanted to preserve his front porch but the only problem was that it was cracking and sinking further into the ground causing tripping hazards. After hearing about Cantey Foundation Specialists through friends and neighbors, he called Cantey for a free estimate, hoping that we could save his porch from further settlement. System Design Specialist Eddie Mathis diagnosed the problem and recommended seven of our galvanized Helical Piers and also our patented PolyLevel process.  Production Foreman TJ Harden injected the polyuerthane substance under the porch, while Production Foreman Ryan Shirley installed the seven Helical Piers around the perimeter of the porch to stabilize the structure.  By combining two of our best products together, Cantey was able to ensure that Brennan's porch will never settle again!
