Tommy K. of Chapin, SC wanted to protect his largest investment... his home. He noticed that a wall in his kitchen was beginning to separate and crack, which was a major sign of settlement. Knowing this was a foundation problem, he called Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate. System Design Specialist James Davis explained to Tommy that because his crawl space support beams were made out of concrete cylinder blocks and spaced incorrectly, the floor was beginning to sag bringing the kitchen wall with it. Cantey's solution to Tommy's problems was to install four SmartJacks under the kitchen wall and replacing the wooden beam for a more structurally sound crawl space. The SmartJacks lifted and stabilized Tommy's kitchen walls and floors permanently!
Steve T. of Chapin, South Carolina had a fairly large stair-step crack along the exterior of his home, and he was worried that his foundation was compromised. After seeing the Cantey trucks travelling around his area, he called Cantey for a free estimate. System Design Specialist John Adams was sent to Steve's home, and John explained to customer Steve that the crack was a product of his home settling into the soil, which would become a major foundation issue if not corrected right away. Shortly after, Production Crew Foreman Ryan Shirley installed a single helical pier and a single push piers, which lifted and permanently stabilized Steve's home!
The foundation crack was corrected and lifted with the installation of 3 helical piers in Mount Holly, NC.

George & Anna P. of Chapin, SC called Cantey Foundation Specialists because their sliding door on back porch wouldn't close correctly, and they began to notice sagging floors. Upon inspection, Specialist Jamie Beresford realized that the sagging floors was a result of a rotted center beam. George and Anna agreed to the solution of replacing the rotten beam with our treated lumber and replace any sister joists that were also rotted away. Production Foreman and Service Technician Trey Dukes achieved this, and was able to fix George & Anna's sagging floors!
