Gary and Deborah G. have been homeowners in Salem, SC for a while now. They love their home and plan on staying in Salem for quite some time. One of their favorite features of the home is the back porch because of its warm fire place and open space. It is the perfect place to host guests on a summer day or even on a chilling evening in the fall. They began to notice a crack forming causing part of the porch to begin leaning away from the home. They were beginning to plan their annual Halloween party and needed to fix this problem for the safety of their guests. Gary did an internet search to see what local company he could find that could do the job right. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway came out and did an inspection finding that there was indeed a perfect solution Cantey could provide. He explained to Gary and Deborah that soil would be removed from the area where Cantey's Helical Pier system would be installed. Then the Helical Pier is drilled into the ground to the proper depth so that foundation brackets can be positioned below the footing. The weight of the home is then shifted through the Helical Piers to the competent soil underneath. The piers would then lift the home back to its original position. Gary agreed that this was the right solution for his home. Production Team Leader Sixto Lopez, Production Team Member Jose Lopez, and Production Team Member Mariano Valdovines came out and effectively installed the Helical Piers. Gary and Deborah are moving forward with plans to enjoy the company of family and friends for their Halloween party thanks to Cantey's solution.

Deborah G. has owned her home in Salem, SC since 2005. It is a peaceful place with a porch over looking all of the beautiful scenery. About a year ago her mother became ill and moved in with Deborah because she needed extra help. Her mother cannot get out much but one thing that brings her joy is sitting on the back porch and taking in the view. It is her place of peace and where she finds comfort. He explained to Deborah that Cantey could install Helical Piers that would be placed in the ground deep enough to find competent soil. This soil would create the perfect anchor for the pier to push on while the footing of the pier would find the bottom of her home's foundation. The Helical Pier would then be able to create lift and safety for Deborah and her mother. Deborah and her mother are back out on the porch anticipating the fall weather and the leaves changing now that they feel safe once again.

Kevin M. has been a homeowner in Seneca, SC for years. His home was built close to another home so he had a brick wall built to create privacy for his home. A few months ago Kevin began to notice a crack forming on his wall. Upon further investigation, he saw that the wall was leaning. Not wanting this problem to get worse he looked for a company that could offer him the right solution. He called around but most companies told him to replace the wall entirely. This was going to be a costly option so Kevin decided to do some more digging. He finally found Cantey Foundation Specialists after searching the internet for a wall stabilizing solution. He scheduled an appointment with System Design Specialist Katherine Dillon. Specialist Katherine came out and did an inspection and told Kevin about Cantey's patented GeoLock Anchor system to save his wall. These wall anchors would be installed on the interior of the wall then a steel rod would be placed through the wall. This rod would anchor the wall using the most competent soil underneath the surface. This anchor system would stabilize the wall and stop the leaning. Production Team Leader Aubrey McJunkin, Production Team Member Francisco Lopez, and Production Team Member Oscar Mota came out and effectively installed the GeoLock Anchor system. Kevin is now happy he found Cantey when he did to give him a lower cost and better solution to save his wall.

Jerry & Julia S. of Clemson, SC noticed moisture problems in their crawl space and some sagging areas in their kitchen and dining room floors.  After researching online, they decided to call Cantey Foundation Specialists for a free estimate and inspection.  Specialist Nathan Bailey inspected both the crawl space and the interior of Jerry and Julia's home, and Specialist Nathan found that the moisture problems in the crawl space were rotting the wood through the subfloor in some areas.  Knowing that this problem could only worsen, Specialist Nathan recommended that they install our patented CleanSpace solution and replace most of the wood rotten beams.  The worst area (shown in the picture) was the space between their eat-in kitchen and the steps down to their living room.  This wood beam supported the majority of the kitchen and was completely saturated and rotted.  Production Crew led by Team Leader Israel Santana replaced all the rotten wood beams and joists, and then encapsulated the crawl space with a thick vapor barrier that surpasses our competitors.  Along with a dehumidifier and sump pump, Jerry & Julia S. no longer have to worry about the moisture in their crawl space causing any problems!

Jackson M. and his wife Amy became homeowners in Central, SC soon after becoming newlyweds. Now they have a bundle of joy on the way, soon they will need a room for their little girl to call her own. Jackson like any new father is running around baby proofing the house and helping Amy decorate a beautiful nursery. While painting the nursery Jackson started to notice the sloping in the floor and worried that this could potentially be a hazard for his newborn. System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey came out to do an inspection and explained to Jackson there were several wood beams that needed to be replaced. They had begun to rot and were producing mold growth that would not be good for the nursery above. Production Team Leader Israel Santana, Production Team Member Jonathan Lowder, and Production Team Member Austin Boan came out and successfully replaced the beams with new wood. Jackson and Amy are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby girl and are confident she will have a safe nursery at home.
