Challenge
Al B. called Cantey Foundation Specialists because his commercial property in Myrtle Beach, SC drastically needed foundation repair. Two three-story condos overlooking the beach were structurally falling apart because of the historic October flood and eventual erosion of the soil. System Design Specialist William Yarbrough inspected the two condos, and he realized that without immediate attention, the condos would crumble apart.
Solution
Production Project Manager Sean Hawkes and Crew Member David Hinson, Jr. rushed to Myrtle Beach to help these desperate families by installing four new construction helical piers to allow Al B. to pour permanent footers. This, therefore, permanently stabilized the piers so that
