Often times in older homes, the floors start to sag and become soft or bouncy which later creates foundation cracks in the walls and could even put enough pressure on the walls causing them to cave. In this house in Charleston, SC, Cantey crew members were able to provide enough support to raise the floors back up by adding a supplemental steel beam across the entire crawl space and assembling adjustable SmartJacks along the beam. The jacks were adjusted to raise and position the home in its original place and provide enough foundation support to the stabilize the home.
